E scooter conversion project

So..... I always wanted to go to the park... but my dad couldn't always fetch me there. Its also too far to walk there. I wanted an electric scooter but my dad refused get me one. So i decided to make one.

First we cut slits into the back of the wheel holder. This is because the new hub motor wheel is larger and would not fit without the cut.

Here is the process of making the battery pack. Since there is only a slim and long compartment for me, I have to make the battery pack into 3 pieces. I also soldered the Battery Management System (BMS) on to the battery. This makes sure the battery charge properly and prevents the battery from being hurt if there is a short circuit.

I am not patient enough to wait till everything is packaged properly, so I took it out to public and compared it to a BEAM scooter. And....... of course theirs is better.

Next, we inserted this charging port on the side of the scooter. We did this by drilling a hole and just friction fit it in. We used a hammer to hammer it in. It was tight so..... I don't think its going anywhere anytime soon.

Then, I finalized the electronics part, which includes GPS tracking, SOS, ring, LED strip lighting and the lock feature.

After that, we packed everything underneath the scooter securely. ( It was the worst part )

Yea so.... above is me & my dad making the bottom cover out of aluminum sheets. We sprayed the cover grey and sticked some rubber seal on the bottom of it.

After that we installed the bottom cover and finalized everything.
